What is the City Center Walking Tour?

This guided tour through the heart of Madrid will allow you to know the history behind its monuments and its most iconic places. The tour will start at the famous San Miguel Market, from where we will go to the Plaza de la Villa, the nucleus of the medieval city. Did you know that each of its buildings belongs to a different architectural period? Afterwards, we will visit the Opera House, the Almudena Cathedral and the Royal Palace, the largest in Europe.

We will then head towards the Puerta del Sol, witness to some of the most important events in the history of Spain. We cannot finish our visit without visiting the Plaza Mayor, the emblem of the capital, and the dark past behind it. In addition, we will enrich our tour with the multiple anecdotes and curiosities hidden in the intricate streets of the Madrid of the Austrias. Don’t miss it!
